The Dunkeld Writers Festival returns from 28–30 August 2026 for a weekend of storytelling and conversation. Now in its fifth year, the Festival brings together celebrated writers, readers and thinkers in one of regional Victoria’s most spectacular settings.

Thursday 18 June

Join us for the launch of the 2026 Dunkeld Writers Festival on Thursday 18 June from 6pm. An evening of poetry, conversation and celebration and a chance to hear about the authors participating in the 2026 Festival.

Hosted by acclaimed poet and performer Emilie Zoey Baker, the evening will feature readings and performances from Joel Ma, Emilie Collyer and Tariro Mavondo.

Tickets include drinks and canapés, with poet performances commencing at 6.45pm. Festival updates and announcements will follow at 7.30pm. Join us for a first glimpse into the exciting line up for the fifth annual Dunkeld Writers Festival.
